Italy Gay Travels is a gay-owned and run Boutique Tour Operator. We organise Escorted All-gay Small Group Vacations and Events for International travellers in friendly destinations in Italy (and beyond). We take pride in serving the LGBTQ+ international community: our mission is to bring like-minded people together to make long-lasting friendships and incredible lifetime memories.

Absolutely! All our Small Group Vacations are open to solo travellers: about half our fellow guests are traveling solo! We will create the group and make sure to create an unforgettable experience with new friends from all over the world.

Big Pride Cruise offers single solo cabins starting from as low as $2450, so a single supplement is not required.

Once you submit your booking request we'll get in touch with you via email to finalize your booking. You only need to pay the group admin fee (€100) and put down a 20% deposit on voyage fare to hold your reservation.

All our vacations are run by Sergio, the founder of Italy Gay Travels. Sergio is based in Italy, so he will make sure you experience Big Pride Cruise like a true local.

Our guests come literally from all over the world! You can depart from anywhere in the world as long as you make it to our starting city.

The price of the cruise can vary based on the cabin type and booking date but the lowest available price typically starts at approximately $1,800 per person based on double occupancy in an interior cabin. Sea View or Sea Terrace cabins range from $2,200 - $2,600 per person. Solo traveler pricing typically starts at approximately $2,500 per person. Virgin Voyages runs a variety of special promotions and booking offers. Please note that Virgin Voyages pricing is dynamic and can change at any time compared to the estimates listed here. In addition to the cruise fare, Italy Gay Travels will charge a small admin fee as low as €100 per person to join our group which is payable directly to our company.

We charge a or €100 group admin fee.
This covers the administration of organizing the group logistics, which offers you the following benefits.

Exclusive WhatsApp group to see announcements and organize activities with others in the group

Invitation to our onboard cocktail party

Inclusion in six group dinners, one at each specialty restaurant onboard

Access to hosted group activities each day we're in port

Support and assistance before and throughout the trip

You only need to pay the group admin fee of €100 as stated above, plus put down a 20% deposit on voyage fare to hold your reservation. The remaining balance is due 120 days before sailing (April, 30, 2026).

Below is the standard cancelation policy from Virgin Voyages. This policy also applies to the Two Bad Tourists group admin fee:

- You have the most flexibility outside of 120 days prior to your departure date. If you're booking at this time, you have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on your deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.
- After the grace period (but still before the 120-day mark), you can receive a full refund on any payments, not including your deposit. For your deposit, you can request a Future Voyage Credit at this time.
- From 119 days up to 45 days from your departure date, your available options are: Receive a “Future Voyage Credit” in the amount paid that can be applied to a new sailing up to 1 year after the original Voyage date. Change to a new Voyage date up to 1 year after original Voyage date. Change names on the reservation; permissible up to 48 hours before your Voyage sailing date. Submit an insurance claim if travel protection (aka travel insurance) was purchased.
- At 44 days from your departure date, all funds paid are final. But you do have the option to transfer, sell, or otherwise have someone go in your place up to 48 hours before your Voyage. You can view the full cancelation policy here.

No, Virgin Voyages is a mainstream, adults-only cruise line open to anyone that launched in 2021. It was started by the Virgin Group, which is founded by Sir Richard Branson. Virgin Voyages is one of the most LGBT+ friendly businesses in the travel industry and the Virgin Group has been a supporter of LGBT+ rights for over 50 years. Each Virgin Voyages ship can hold up to 2,700 guests. Although we will be joining a large ship with other guests, our small gay group trip of approximately 20-40 gay guests will offer daily group dinners together, group shore exursions, private cocktail parties, group activities and more!

Absolutely yes! Although most of our guests are gay men, we are open to include women, LGBT+ individuals and their straight friends and family.
