Join our Exclusive Italy Gay Ski Week in the Queen of the Dolomites, Cortina
Join Italy Gay Travels for the first and sought after Italy Gay Ski Week. We will host a week of fun in the snow at the most fashionable ski resort in Italy, Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Set just a couple of hours north of Venice, the Olympic resort of Cortina D’Ampezzo is one of the most visited resorts in the Italian Alps: with over 120 kms of pistes and 83 runs, it attracts thousands of skiers of various levels every year. In fact, the town is the choice of many visitors from all over the world, not only for its slopes, but also for the large selection of superb accommodation, bars, restaurants and shopping areas.
The ski resort of Cortina has hosted many ski races, such as the 1956 Winter Olympics and the 2021 Ski World Championships: the Olympic flame will come back in this 1.000 year old resort in 2026.
Cortina is part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site: skiers can take part in cross-country tours through the Ampezzo Dolomites Natural Reserve. The Dolomiti Superski Pass also gives access to over 1,200 km of slopes including the neighbouring valleys: you can find more information at the page here https://www.dolomitisuperski.com/
The main skiing areas in the surroundings of Cortina are the Cortina Cube (Socrepes, Faloria and Mietres), Tofana, and Lagazuoi – 5 Torri, with plenty of challenging runs as well as really amazing views. To get around the ski areas is extremely easy: all the main paths are either linked by lifts or local ski buses.
We will stay in the center of the action, in a fantastic 4 star hotel, Bellevue Hotel, right on top of Corso Italia, the main street of Cortina. Our accommodation includes buffet breakfast, to start the day and the race to the slopes in the best shape; entry to the private spa and to the gym of the hotel.
For a smoother in-resort experience, we highly recommend pre-booking Lift passes, ski equipment hire and/or tuition. Please let us know your requirements and we will help you take care of what is needed.
For those really looking for the relaxing yet energetic holiday on the snow with new gay friends from all over the world, look no further. Our Italy Gay Ski Week offers the perfect solution. The Hotel, carefully selected by your Italy Gay Travels hosts, offers great services: its equipment features a spa and a gym, wifi and on-site massage services. We will also spend at least four nights altogether in traditional restaurants enjoying local food: please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements in order to tailor the meals accordingly.
