🎭 Gay Opera Vacation – Italy in Fabulous Style

🌈 Milan – Venice – Verona | 🗓️ 14–21 June 2026

A Unique Gay Opera Tour with Italy Gay Travels

This Pride Month step into the spotlight and  join Italy Gay Travels on a once-in-a-lifetime Gay Opera Tour through Italy’s most iconic opera capitals — Venice, Verona, and Milan, all while surrounded by fellow LGBTQ+ travelers, epic performances, and magical experiences. This exclusive small-group trip combines world-class opera performances, cultural highlights, and unforgettable gay nightlife in Italy’s most vibrant cities.

Think: world-class opera at La Scala, romantic gondola rides in Venice, and an open-air opera under the stars in a Roman amphitheatre. Add in boutique stays, delicious cuisine, and a dash of sparkle, and you’ve got the ultimate Pride getaway for gay culture lovers.

Our journey begins in Milan, Italy’s fashion and gay capital, where we’ll dive into its history, nightlife, and attend an unforgettable evening at La Scala Opera House for Bizet’s Carmen. Along the way, we’ll explore Lake Como, enjoy guided city tours, and savor the best of Italian cuisine.

Next, we travel to Venice, the romantic city of canals and palaces, where we’ll enjoy Enrico di Borgogna by Donizetti at the Teatro Malibran. Finally, we arrive in Verona, home to the legendary Arena di Verona — the world’s best-preserved Roman amphitheater — for a magical night of La Traviata under the stars.

🌟 Whether you’re a seasoned opera queen or just love Italian glamour and history, this is your front-row seat to the best of Italy, with your tribe.

Day 2 – Lakeside Glamour: Day Trip to Lake Como & Bellagio

Today, trade the fast-paced Milan vibe for something truly magical: a day trip to enchanting Lake Como, Italy’s most luxurious lake destination and a favorite playground for celebs and jet-setters (yes, George Clooney might be watching from his villa 👀).

We begin the morning with a scenic drive to the lake’s shores, where the drama of the Alps meets the elegance of Italian villas and deep-blue waters. From there, we board a private ferry across the glittering lake, passing charming villages and dramatic cliffs on our way to Bellagio—known as “La Perla del Lago” (The Pearl of the Lake).

Once in Bellagio, take time to explore its cobbled lanes, boutique shops, art galleries, and lush gardens. You’ll have the afternoon free to enjoy lakeside dining (own expense) at one of the picturesque restaurants with panoramic views—truly postcard perfection.

Think handmade pasta, crisp Italian white wine, and a front-row seat to the lake’s shimmering beauty.

After this dreamy escape, we return to Milan by early evening.

All aboard! Pack your rainbow fan and strike a pose—today we ride the rails in style!
We’re heading to the floating fantasy that is Venice, where every alleyway whispers secrets and every canal begs for a selfie.

After checking into our charming hotel, the afternoon is yours: Choose an optional dreamy gondola ride (yes, it’s touristy—but also SO romantic), or wander at your own fabulous pace through Venice’s labyrinth of hidden corners, artisan shops, and rainbow reflections.

As the sun sets, we reunite for a magical moment: a candlelit Pizza Dinner with the group along the iconic Grand Canal. The wine will flow, the laughter will echo, and the romance? Well… that’s entirely up to you.

We’ll arrive in style via high-speed train and check into our chic boutique hotel in the heart of town. After settling in, the afternoon is yours to flirt with the city: Sip a rainbow Spritz in the lively Piazza delle Erbe, explore ancient Roman ruins, or maybe blow a kiss to Juliet (don’t worry, she’s an ally).
