Benvenuti! Your Gay Foodies adventure begins as you arrive at our charming villa or 4-star hotel in the heart of Puglia. After check-in, we’ll kick off the week with a festive welcome aperitif dinner, featuring local wines and seasonal dishes. It’s the perfect moment to toast new friends and the culinary journey ahead!

Day 2

Cooking Class & Gallipoli

Start your day with breakfast before diving into your first hands-on cooking class led by a talented local chef. You’ll learn to prepare traditional Salento recipes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients — and of course, enjoy your creations afterward!

In the afternoon, we head to Gallipoli, the jewel of the Ionian coast. Wander its charming old town, relax by the beach, and end the day with a seaside dinner and gelato Italian-style.

Day 3

Private Boat Excursion & Otranto

Today’s adventure is on the water: Hop aboard a private boat and cruise along the coast, exploring sea caves, hidden coves, and crystal-clear waters. Take a dip, sip some local wine, and soak up the sun.

In the afternoon, we visit Otranto, Italy’s easternmost town, where ancient history meets coastal charm. Enjoy free time to explore before heading back for a delicious Pugliese dinner.

Market Visit & Pasta Making

Experience the lively buzz of a local market as we shop for fresh produce and ingredients. Then, under the guidance of a traditional Italian mamma, you’ll learn the art of making orecchiette — Puglia’s signature handmade pasta.

Later, we’ll explore Galatina, a beautiful Baroque town, and enjoy dinner in a cozy trattoria serving authentic regional dishes.

Wine Tasting, Seaside Lunch & Lecce

Get ready for a day dedicated to wine and wonder! Visit a top Salento winery to taste rich Primitivo and smooth Negroamaro wines. Then, savor a relaxing seaside lunch in the coastal villages of Santa Caterina and Santa Maria al Bagno.

In the afternoon, explore Lecce, the “Florence of the South.” Wander through its stunning Baroque streets, shop local boutiques, or enjoy an aperitivo before dinner. Cap off the night with drinks at Lecce’s gay-friendly bars.

Olive Oil Experience & Farewell Party

No Gay Foodies Tour would be complete without tasting Puglia’s liquid gold — extra virgin olive oil. Visit an ancient olive grove and traditional frantoio (oil mill) to learn about and taste this world-class product.

In the afternoon, unwind by the pool or get ready for our farewell barbecue dinner, celebrating new friendships and unforgettable flavors. For those who want to keep the fun going, join us in Gallipoli, the gay capital of Southern Italy, for an optional night out.
