An exclusive and unforgettable LGBT Naples Tour
Join Sergio, your Italy Gay Travels Tour Leader, on an amazing LGBT Naples Tour.
The historical center of Naples is recognised as UNESCO World Heritage site because of its uniqueness: it comprises 448 historical monuments and churches. It is an area rich both in popular culture (San Gregorio Armeno and its street art being the symbol of the area) and historical landmarks, including many noteworthy palazzos.
Commence this enthralling walking tour by meeting with Sergio, your tour leader, at the pier. We will start in front of one of the many castles that Naples preserves: Castel Nuovo, also called Maschio Angioino. From there we make our way to the magnificient Plebiscite Square to admire the Royal Palace, the connected San Carlo Theatre (the oldest still active Opera House in the world) and the majestic Umberto I Gallery.
We will then head over to the Piazza del Gesu Nuovo, one of Naples’ historic squares, home to iconic churches that surround the spire of the Immaculate Conception.
Follow Sergio, your tour guide and head down the narrow streets and alleys of Naples, through Spaccanapoli heading to San Gregorio Armeno, famous for the many peculiar Nativity Scenes. Before leaving the Historic Centre of Naples, Sergio will lead you to visit the Cathedral of Naples, home to the Miracle of San Gennaro three times a year.
We will then make our way to the Spanish Quarters and Via Toledo, the main commercial street of Naples, before concluding our visit. An Optional Pizza Lunch (Naples Style Pizza is UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage) is the perfect conclusion to our walking tour.
During this private stroll across the centre of the city, Sergio will make sure to show you his favourite spots of the most beautiful city in the world (according to him).
