Italy is open for tourism this Summer

Italy is open for tourism in Summer 2021!

That is a great news! It is now time to book your holidays with us in and around Italy! Wherever you are travelling from in Europe you will just need to show one of three things:

1 – Proof of vaccination with a valid vaccine certificate  OR
2 – A negative Covid PCR test, within 72 hours of travel OR
3 – Proof of recovery from Covid

If you are travelling from the States, great news is that many Covid Tested flights are already available!

It means that you can board flights from many different US International airports (currently Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York “John Fitzgerald Kennedy” and “Newark-Liberty”, Philadelphia, Washington D.C.) or Canada to Rome, Malpensa, Venice and Naples for tourism purposes.

These flights will only board passengers who either:

– present at the boarding gate a medical certificate of a negative molecular (RT PCR) or antigenic test result carried out in the 48 hours before boarding.

– undergo a rapid antigen test on the day of departure at the airport of departure.

No quarantine is needed at arrival.

Delta Airlines currently operates:

Daily service between Atlanta and Rome,
Daily service between New York-JFK and Milan
Three-times-a-week from JFK to Rome, increasing to daily July 1

Additionally, Delta will launch three more nonstop routes this summer: New York-JFK to Venice beginning July 2, as well as Atlanta to Venice and Boston to Rome beginning August 5. Delta operates all flights to Italy in conjunction with partner Alitalia.

You can read more info about the procedures for Covid Tested flights at the page

American Airlines currently offers daily flights between JFK and MXP and three-times weekly service to FCO. American also operates four-times weekly service between Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and FCO.

United is currently offering four weekly flights between Newark and Milan (MXP), along with three weekly flights between Newark (EWR) and Rome (FCO). With Italy’s reopening, United will offer five weekly flights on both routes beginning June 1, before moving to daily service on both routes beginning on July 1, through the end of the schedule in April 2022.
